ROCHELLE, Ga - Like most Americans Juanita Marie Jones, 53, was probably spending another quiet night watching Idol, and threatening the kids, when she was hit upside the head with the grim reality that she’d been ripped off.

What do you do when you discover you’ve been had? Whine? Write your congressman? Post anonymous comments in an online forum? To her credit little Juanita took action.

She immediately dialed up the brave lads over at the Rochelle Police force. After all, we pay them to “protect and serve,” and the Better Business Bureau was probably closed at that hour.

But poor Juanita didn’t get any help, did she. Instead, Juanita was re-victimized, after she explained to the cops that she’d purchased what she thought was a $20 rock of crack, broke it into three pieces, smoked one, only to discover the drugs were bogus.

Bogus! Lord almighty, when you can’t trust your neighborhood dealer, then who can you trust? Certainly not the Rochelle police, who promptly arrested Juanita after she showed Officer Joel Quinn and Deputy John Shedd her private stash.

Of course the moral of this story is to never show you stash to anyone on the first date. But we’d like to know: If the drugs were fake, what was the charge? Is stupidity illegal these days? Because if it is, I know a certain President who’d look nice in cuffs.
