I’ve actually been here. It’s on the way to Jaco Costa Rica. This river’s loaded with huge crocodiles, and there’s a bridge where you can check them out from a safe distance. There’s a serious crocodile problem in Panama as well.
When they were in control of the Panama Canal the U.S would hunt the crocs to keep the population under control. But the Canal is in Panama’s hands now, and the crocodile’s are not hunted anymore.
Every so often someone gets eaten.
